COOKING INSTRUCTIONS -
1. To 250g mutton/chicken pieces, rub 1 pack of Nimkish Biryani Masala, 2 tbsp oil and 4 tbsp yogurt. Mix well and keep aside for 15 minutes.
2. In a pan, heat 3 tbsp oil on medium heat and sauté
- the chicken for 5-7 minutes or until tender.
- the mutton for 15 minutes. Add 1 cup water (300ml), cover the lid and simmer for 30 minutes on low heat until meat is tender.
Remove the chicken/mutton from the pan and keep aside.
3. In the same pan, add 1 cup rice (250g) and 2 cups of water (600 ml). Put the lid on and leave on low heat until the rice is cooked. Add cooked chicken/mutton pieces and mix well. Garnish with dry fruits and fried onion.
For Vegetable Biryani - To 250g vegetables (of choice), add 1 pack of Nimkish Biryani Masala, 2 tbsp oil, 4 tbsp yogurt and mix well. In a pan, heat 3 tbsp oil on medium heat and sauté the veggies for 2-3 minutes. Add 1 cup rice (250g), 2 cups of water (600ml), cover the lid and leave on low heat until the rice is cooked. Add Nimkish Raita Masala to plain curd and serve with Biryani.
