Nimkish Tandoori Tawa Soya Chaap Spice Mix provides those characteristic smoky and earthy flavours obtained when roasting in a tandoor oven. However, this blend of spices allows one to achieve the same result without a traditional oven, either on the grill or by pan-frying the chaap. Perfectly tender and juicy, it is sure to delight.

1. In a pan, add water with a pinch of salt and boil 250g soya chaap until soft and tender. Remove the chaap from the pan and wash with cold water.

2. Gently remove soya chaap from the sticks and cut them in half lengthwise. Marinate the pieces with 1 pack of Nimkish Tandoori Tawa Soya Chaap Spice Mix, 4 tbsp oil, 8 tbsp cream or thick curd and half lemon juice. Mix well and refrigerate for atleast 30 minutes.

3. PAN - Heat oil in a flat pan and sauté soya chaap pieces on both sides till they are roasted and light brown in colour. For smoky flavour, roast the pieces further on open flame for 30 seconds on each side.

OVEN – Preheat at 200° C and lightly brush oil on soya chaap pieces. Grill for 10 minutes, turn side and grill for 5 minutes or until crisp and light brown in colour.

4. Brush melted butter on the cooked soya chaap. Garnish with fresh cream and onion rings.
